EU Data Protection Rights
According to Regulation (EU) No 2016/679 (the General Data Protection Regulation, or "GDPR"), EU natural persons have legal rights in certain circumstances. This may include the right to:
- Confirm whether we are processing personal data about you, and, if so, to get information about what that information is and why we are processing it.
- Access your personal data, so you can know what data we have about you and can check that we are processing it lawfully.
- Rectify any inaccurate personal data we may hold about you.
- Erase your personal data, when there is no longer a good reason for us to continue processing it.
- Restrict continued processing of your personal data when you believe it is inaccurate, when we are unable to erase it, or if you otherwise wish to challenge our right to process this data under the law.
- Receive the personal data we have in you in a structured electronic format so you can transfer it to another party.
- Object to our use of your personal data, particularly if we are using for direct marketing purposes, or if we are making automated decisions about you using your personal data.
- Withdraw your consent, if our access to your personal data was only legally-permitted with your consent in the first place.
This is not an exhaustive list, and these rights may not always apply in all circumstances. Our Data Privacy and Protection policy explains the sort of data we collect and process, and how we anticipate working with you to exercise your legal rights.
